Your investment case

Connect each claim to evidence, a measurable outcome and a limitation. Start with what you know; mark unresolved points rather than filling gaps with assumptions.

Private working draft, not an approved disclosureThis tool makes no server calls and uses no external services. It saves this draft in this browser's local storage when available. Other users of this browser, and scripts on this site, may be able to access it. Do not enter confidential or price-sensitive information. Downloads and printed copies are yours to protect.
Use a project label if the company name is sensitive.
Make a testable statement, not a slogan. This sentence appears in full in the summary.
Define the customer, geography and addressable segment. Explain demand drivers and alternatives. For each market figure, record its scope, official source URL and retrieval date; otherwise write “no official data”.
Explain why customers choose this business over a named alternative. Link differentiation to verifiable evidence and explain what competitors could replicate. Avoid unsupported leadership claims.
Separate existing-business growth, new products, new markets and acquisitions. State the execution owner, resource needs and dependencies. Distinguish observed results from plans and assumptions.
For each key performance indicator (KPI), give its definition, period, unit, data owner and evidence reference. Link growth to margins, cash generation and capital needs. Keep historical results, targets and assumptions separate; explain any adjusted measures.
Describe what issuer proceeds would fund, the priority of each use and how delivery will be measured. Separate money raised by the company from selling-shareholder proceeds. Identify contingencies if less capital is raised.
Explain priorities between reinvestment, debt reduction, acquisitions and shareholder returns. State whether a dividend policy is proposed, approved, undecided or not applicable, with a reason. Do not imply a guaranteed distribution or invent a payout target.
Write the strongest challenge to the investment case. For each material risk, describe exposure, potential impact, mitigation, residual uncertainty and an early-warning indicator. Keep downside visible rather than treating mitigation as elimination.
Connect relevant experience to the plan. Describe accountability, board oversight, incentives, succession and capability gaps. Distinguish current arrangements from appointments or policies still to be agreed.
